MOM’S NOTES: All photographs were taken by Cooper, and all of the (BOLD FACE) print was typed by him. All of the (lower case) print was typed by me, Cooper’s Mom. I am basically asking Cooper what he does each day, and we write about it. He talks to me and I type his words exactly as he speaks them...

Yesterday I took pictures. We shopped at Wal-Mart. We bought milk, juice, sandwich meat, cookies and I don’t know what else. I went to Taekwondo. Class was fun. We said, “AH-YAH…!” Uh…we got some juice. Mom cut out some tiny picture squares and we are going to make them into my daily schedule. We went to Office Depot and they are going to put plastic on them so they wont tear.

Today we have to return the noodles because we got the wrong kind. We are going to Taekwondo and we are going to do home schooling. We are going to practice counting money by playing “Store”…! I don’t know what else we are going to do.

MOM'S NOTES: Cooper is doing great with his little camera! He is learning to hold still while taking a picture! Though, I will have to say, that some of his “wiggles” have made some interesting abstracts!

Lots of things he will be learning from this project...

For starters, this blog has become a fun way to use a calender by documenting his day to day events! Basically, an "on-line diary" encouraging Cooper to focus...in a fun, 'round-a-bout way! Also, in the process, he is familiarizing himself with a keyboard! This is important for today's youngsters!

As he types his very own thoughts and perception of what each day entails, we work on spelling, grammar, punctuation and sentence structure!

We have basically found a "kewl new way" for Cooper to express his thoughts while keeping in-touch with his Teachers and friends! With a handful of photographs and a simple "hello" Cooper is able to practice reasoning, intuition, and perception...all of which strengthen his thought process! Or, shall we say...his cognitive skills! *smile*

Cooper's email address is:

cooperzworld@gmail.com

Drop him a line! He would love to hear from you!!!

XOXO
